TO ALL COUNSEL OF RECORD

Re: 77-2693 WILEY L, BOLDEN, ET AL, -vs- CITY OF MOBILE, ET AL,

(District Court Docket No. CA-75-297-P)

Dear Counsel:

This is to advise that the above cause has now been docketed in

this Court under the above number,

It is important that all counsel desiring to appear in this
case sign and return the attached appearance form within fifteen
(15) days from this date, in order to insure your receipt of
future notices from this office. If you fail to do so we can
only assume that you do not desire to appear and your name will
be removed from our records.

As soon as the Record on Appeal is received from the Clerk of

the District Court, our usual briefing notice will be issued.
In the meantime, it is important that counsel for appellant
be certain that arrangements have been made with the Reporter
and the District Court to insure that the Record on Appeal is
transmitted with the forty day period fixed in Rule 11 F.R.A.P.
Under Fifth Circuit Local Rule 9 (b), this case is subject
to dismissal, without notice, in the event the record is not
transmitted within that time,

Very truly yours,

EDWARD W., WADSWORTH,
CLERK
