WASHEHGTON, D.C., May XX -- More than 49@ civil rights advocates
will celebrate the 2% 20th Anniversary of the United States Supreme
Court decision, Brown v.Board of Edua&stonn of Topeka, at the NAACP
Legal Defense and Educational Fund's 9th Annual Luncheon on Tuesday,
May 21 at the Sheraton Park Hotel. The Fund Was the origanization that
fought and won the Brown decision. ‘
Edward W.Brooke, U.S. Senator from Massachusetts, will be the
p< Reynote speaker at the luncheon commemorating the Court's ruling, which
outlawed racial segregation in public schools and signaled the move to
dismantlexsak statutory segregation in all walks of life.
