MOTION TO DISPENSE WITH THE 
REQUIREMENT OF AN APPENDIX 

Plaintiffs-Appellants, pursuant to Rule 30(f) of the 

Federal Rules of Appellate Procedure and Rule 10(b) of the 

Local Rules of the United States Court of Appeals for the 

Fifth Circuit, hereby move this Court to dispense with the 

requirement of an appendix and permit this appeal to be 

heard on the original record. 

l. Plaintiffs, in this appeal, seek to realize con- 

stitutional rights assured in Carter v. West Feliciana Parish 

School Board, S. Ct., October Term, 1969, January 14, 1970, 

Nos. 944 and 972; and the preparation and printing of an ap- 

pendix will consume much time and will preclude the realiza- 

tion of those rights.
