JUDICIAL DISTRICT

v. OF HARTFORD

WILLIAM A. O'NEILL, et al August 9, 1990

PIATNTIFFS' REQUEST FOR EXTENSION OF TIME

TO RESPOND TO DEFENDANTS' FIRST

SET OF INTERROGATORIES

By document dated July 13, 1990 the defendants in the above

captioned case have requested that the plaintiffs respond to

interrogatories. The plaintiffs are now in the process of

conducting an extensive review of our records and files to

answer this request. Because of the nature and breadth of the

questions, the plaintiffs will not be able to comply with the

request within the time allowed by the Practice Book. For this

reason the defendants are seeking an extension of time pursuant

to Practice Book § 224 to answer and object to the Defendants’

First Set of Interrogatories. On August 9, 1990 counsel for the

defendants was contacted, and plaintiffs were advised that the

defendants had no objection to granting this motion.

NO ORAL ARGUMENT REQUESTED/NO TESTIMONY REQUIRED

WHEREFORE, the plaintiffs request an extension of time

until October 1, 1990 to respond to Defendants' First set of

Interrogatories.
