Attention: Ms. Adeline Barnes

Re: Campbell v. Gadsden County District

School Board, et al.
CA. No. 75-1998

Dear Ms. Barnes:

Enclosed please find for filing three copies
of the Brief for Plaintiff-Appellee Cross-Appellant
Campbell in the above-referenced matter. I apologize
for the delay in filing. I received copies of the
defendants' brief on August 6th and 7th from co-
counsel and defendants' counsel respectively. I
learned on August 7 that the deferred appendix
route had been chosen. Without an appendix or
record from below, I had greater difficulty in
redrafting the Statement of Facts than anticipated.

Because a deferred appendix is being used,
only three copies of our brief are enclosed. By
copy of this letter, I am serving two copies of the

Brief on defendants' counsel.

Very truly yours,

CANAL ila?
