Thank you so much for the materials you promptly sent to me 
on Texas venue law. Your associate, Ms Jennings, did a lovely job 
of compiling and researching the material. 

As per your request, I am enclosing copies of the briefs we 
filed in the Supreme Court as well as the United States brief, 
which raises some serious concern about their participation on our 
side of the case. As you know, the Solicitor General will be 
arguing part of the Chisom case. They will not be arguing in HLA, 
however. 

I was contacted yesterday evening by Ruth Marcus at the 
Washington Post. She would like to do a story on our case and is 
planning to travel to Houston next week. I have told her to get 
in touch with you as she would like to set up some interviews with 
our clients. I will see you in Washington, D.C.
