MEMORANDUM
After bullying everyone to get a definite date for our next meeting, I was chagrined to find
out that I will not be able to attend an evening meeting in Hartford the week of June 12, 2000
because my wife will be out of town that week. Iwill be completely responsible for childcare (which
includes, at a minimum, being home in the evening after school). I think that both of the meetings
with the superintendent and the plaintiffs are important so I’m going to ask Elizabeth to continue
trying to set up a meeting with Amado during the day (preferably in time to be conclude by 3:30pm)
during the week of the 12 Whatever day we schedule that, Phil, Derrick, Deborah and I will meet
to coordinate discovery and data analysis plan.
I will speak with Elizabeth to see how quickly we can meet with the plaintiffs, with the
understanding that some of the legal team may not be available.
Finally, I will try to reschedule the retreat with all the attorneys. Thanks for your patience
and cooperation.
