Re: Sheff v. O'Neill

Dear John:

Please find the following two items transmitted with this
letter.

First, please find pages 13-20 of exhibit #1, so identified
during yesterday’s deposition of Dr. William T. Trent. These pages
contain markings, as requested during the deposition. Pages 1-12
contain no markings and, thus, remain identical to the pages
already in your possession. Second, please find a single page
containing the requested information about the SEI transformations
applied to the High School and Beyond Data.

Although he believes that documentation on the recoding of
such variables is public information, Dr. Trent will also
investigate whether there is similar information concerning any
transformation of occupational data in the PARNES data base.

I hope that the documents retain sufficient clarity after FAX
transmittal. Please let me know if you require additional copies
to be mailed.

Sincerely, -~
