Statement by Jack Greenberg, Friday, August 30, 1969 

We are particularly encouraged by the Oklahoma 

and Denver victories in which we opposed respectively 

in one instance a protesting white parents group and in 

the other the local school board. The United States Dept. 

of Justice was not involved in either case.
