Dear Counsel: 

This is to advise that the above cause has now been docketed 

in this Court under the above number. 

It is important that all counsel desiring to appear in this 

case sign and return the attached appearance form within 

seven (7) days from this date, in order to insure your receipt 

of future notices from this office. If you fail to do so we 

can only assume that you do not desire to appear and your 

name will be removed from our records. 

  

As soon as the Record on Appeal is received from the Clerk 

of the District Court our usual briefing notice will issue. 

In the meantime it is important that counsel for appellant 

be certain that arrangements have been made with the Reporter 

and the District Court to insure that the Record on Appeal 

is transmitted within the forty day period fixed in Rule 11 

F.R.A.P. Under Fifth Circuit Local Rule 9(b) this case is 

subject to dismissal, without notice, in the event the record 

is not transmitted within that time.
