Re: Whitfield v. Clinton
Dear Kathleen:

As promised, I enclose a set of the class certification motions
and memoranda in Whitfield. Please review and call me if there
are any problems. Once they meet your approval, please fill in
appropriate dates, prepare certificate of service and send the
clerk at least one extra copy to stamp filed. I would appreciate
your then sending me the extra filed, stamped, copy of both the
motion to certify the plaintiff class and the motion to certify
the defendant class.

By the way, do we need to file a motion to appear pro hac vice?
Finally, the defendant class motion assumes there are both
Republican and Democratic Committees in each county. Is this in
fact correct? Let me know so we can revise the numerosity
section if necessary.
