Clinton Dear Kathleen: As promised, I enclose a set of the class certification motions and memoranda in Whitfield. Please review and call me if there are any problems. Once they meet your approval, please fill in appropriate dates, prepare certificate of service and send the clerk at least one extra copy to stamp filed. I would appreciate your then sending me the extra filed, stamped, copy of both the motion to certify the plaintiff class and the motion to certify the defendant class. By the way, do we need to file a motion to appear pro hac vice? Finally, the defendant class motion assumes there are both Republican and Democratic Committees in each county. Is this in fact correct? Let me know so we can revise the numerosity section if necessary. It was good talking with you last week.
