Director-Counsel Greenberg, here representing the Rev. Martin Luther King and the Selma demonstrators, wired the President immediately following his address. Full text of Mr. Greenberg's wire follows: "For those of us involved, daily, in the task of seeking equal justice under law, it is heartening indeed, to have the President of the United States so mivingly thrust his mind, political passion and prestige to our aid. "Your statementto the world last night was a manifesto of strength, sincerity and sharply defined purpose. "The direction, in which you placed America in motion, can only result in the hastening of full equality. We fervently hope and pray for the time when Americans from all areas will heed your call. "Toward this realization, the NAACP Legal Defense & Educational Fund, Inc. will continue to work, with the firm conviction that it will be soon coming.
