Dear Mr. Grunow:
Enclosed please find copies of the briefs, the 

district court order and the notice of appeal filed in 
the above styled case.

In accordance with our telephone conversation this 
date, the Court has requested that the State of Tennessee, 
Attorney General's office address the issue of the 
constitutionality of Tenn. Code Ann. §40-808.

This case is scheduled for oral argument on Tuesday, 
January 18, 1983 and the court would like the amicus brief 
on or before January 13, 1983.

Please advise us on this matter and thank you for 
your kind cooperation.
