MOTION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME WITHIN WHICH TO ANSWER 
  

NOW INTO COURT, through undersigned counsel, come the defendants herein, 

who move this Honorable Court to grant an extension of time within which to 

file an answer pursuant to Rule 6(b), Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, for 

the following reasons: 

1. Complexity of legal and factual allegations of 

plaintiffs' complaint. 

Complexity of defendants' defense which has necessitated 
the appointment of Special Assistant Attorney General, 

David R. Poynter, as of April 9, 1982. 

Pendancy of a motion to consolidate this suit with 

Civil Action No. 82-1136, Robert E. Couhig, et al v. 
James L. Brown, Secretary of State.
