The parties, through counsel, having met and agreed
to a modification of the school desegregation plan previously
ordered by this Court on December 10, 1969 and amended on
August 6, 1970, and the Court being of the opinion that the
agreed to modifications satisfy the ends cf justice in this
case and will not adversely affect public school desegregation,
it is therefore ordered that the desegregation plan of
December 10, 1969 and August 6, 1970 shall be modified in
the following respect:
1. The Natchez Special Municipal Separate School
District is
Carpenter II School as an active facility, with
grades one and two there transferred to the
Braden School, and is permitted to lease this
building to the Board of Trustees of the Copiah-
Lincoln Junior College for use as the Natchez
Center for said college,
All other provisions of the plan ordered on December 10, 1969
and August 6, 1970 shall remain in full force and effect un-
less specifically modified herein.
THUS DONE AND SIGNED this ‘V 3 day of Ny , 1973.
