Dear Judge Thompson:
As requested by the Court we are reporting to Your Honor on the
status of settlement discussions and an estimate of trial time.
We have spoken with all of the attorneys concerning settlement.
At this point, I must regretably report that settlement is
doubtful with any county though it is early in the discussions
and they are continuing.
Our best estimate is that plaintiffs will need two to three days
to present their case. We intend to present both the intgent and
results case.
