Attorneys of the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, in cooperation with the
Baltimore branch of the NAACP will file a complaint Friday (AM) Jan. 8th
against Baltimore police commissioner Bernard Schmidt in Federal District
Court asking that a temporary restraining order and a preliminary in-
junction be granted enjoining Baltimore police from making unlawful entries
and searches of homes without warrants and from harrassing, threatening
or intimidating persons who protest or resist unlawful entries and
searches.
