    Adam: The only additions I woudl make to Tiare’s list is 

1. Insert the word “official” in front of “race discrimination.” 

2. Insert before the line discussing the socio-econ disadvantages: 

African-Americans continue to bear the effects of historical racial 

discrimination in such areas as education, employment, and health, 

which hinders their ability to participate effectively and equally with
