PLAINTIFFS' RESPONSE TC STATE DEFENDANTS' MOTION TO ALTER
Plaintiffs LULAC, et al., Plaintiff-Intervenors Jesse Oliver,
et al, and Plaintiff-Intervenors Houston Lawyers Association, et
al., in response to the State Defendants’ Motion to Alter the
Order of January 2, 1990, state to the Court that they are in
AGREEMENT with the contention and reasons therefor contained in
the State Defendants' Motion that the order should be altered to
eliminate the provisions for non-partisan elections.
Plaintiffs LULAC, et al., Plaintiff-Intervenors Jesse Oliver,
et al, and Plaintiff-Intervenors Houston Lawyers Association, et
al. urge the Court to GRANT the State Defendants’ Motion.
