RE: Legal Meeting and Legislative Testimony

DATE: March 2, 1999

This will confirm Phil’s fax. The attorney’s meeting will start at 9:45 a.m. at the C.C.L.U.
We will break in time to witness Sergi’s testimony. We will then testify at the public meeting
starting at 2:00pm. I, along with Marianne and Phil, will prepare the written statement, a draft
of which will be sent out no later than Thursday.

Elizabeth will check with the plaintiffs to see if they would like to discuss further Len’s
presentation in the evening after our testimony.

We will also distribute an agenda at the end of the week. Please call me (212/965-2255)
or my secretary Diane Simmons (212/965-2253) to say whether you’ll be attending and with any
suggestions regarding the agenda.

Thanks.
