Counsel are further directed to confer prior to the Pre-Trial 
Conference. The purpose of this preliminary conference between 
Counsel is to exchange information as to the ultimate issues of law 
and fact, eliminating unnecessary or irrelevant issues that may 
appear in the pleadings or discovery; to arrive at all possible stipulations and exchange documents which will be offered in evidence at the Trial.
After the Pre-Trial Conference the Court will enter a joint Pre- 
Trial Order which shall be controlling at the Trial. Therefore, prior to the Pre-Trial Conference, Counsel should prepare a joint Pre-Trial Order.
If an Attorney fails to appear at the Pre-Trial Conference or to 
comply w^th the directions set forth herein, an ex parte hearing 
may be held and jud gment of dismissal or default or other appro­
priate jud(^ent entered. See Rule 7, 11, 16 and 26, Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
