Comes now each defendant in the above-styled cause and,
pursuant to the order of this court, submits herewith the
expert qualifications of James E. Voyles and V. Gordon
Moulton, each of whom may be called as an expert witness
upon the trial of this cause.
The qualifications of each of the above-mentioned
witnesses to testify as experts upon the trial of this
cause are contained in the attached vitae, marked as
"Exhibit A" and "Exhibit B" hereof and incorporated here-
in by reference.

Specific duties and responsibilities:
Overall management and direction of all
systems and programming efforts for
University Administrative Information
Systems.
Co-ordination and planning of all
Hospital data processing functions.
This includes all administrative data
processing as well as medical information
processing.
Planning and co-ordination of College of
Medicine computer requirements including
the selection and installation of mini-
systems for use in laboratory research.
Professional and Consulting Experience
(1) Design and development of a project for the Mobile Area Law
Enforcement Information System. Included network design
Por an interactive terminal system located throughout several
uth Alabama counties for the purposes of on-line inguiey
pe up-dating of law enforcement information.
Development of plans for a Regional Computer Center to serve
all governmental agencies in three South Alabama counties
including Mobile County. This project included the assessment
of all processing needs and subsequent design of a computing
configuration necessary to serve these needs. This plan is
currently being put into action for the establishment of the
Regional Center.
Data base design and system definition for regional land use
system developed for the South Alabama Regional Planning
Commission. This system will provide planning information to
be utilized in the commercial and residential development of
properties in the South Alabama Region.
Consulting assistance in the development of a computer oriented
economic model for forecasting census and labor statistics for
population and economic planning for the South Alabama Regional
Planning Commission.

(5) Data base design and system definition for Housing and
Urban Development study of the needs of the elderly in the
South Alabama Regional Planning area. This project was
under the auspices of the Federal Agency for Housing and
Urban Development and the South Alabama Regional Planning
Commission.
Development and co-ordination of a project to utilize a
computer model to reassign all Mobile County voters to new
voting precincts based on population density as ordered
under a Federal Court ruling for the reapportionment of
the Alabama Legislature. This project involved data base
design for master street reference files and individual
voter records and development of the algorithm for matching
of records. This project has received special recognition
of the United States General Accounting Office and the
U. S. Bureau of the Census and is currently being considered
as a possible guideline or prototype for the development of
a national model for reassigning voters to allow for shifts
in population densities.
Consultant to the Association of Alabama Negro Colleges on
establishing a Computer Assisted Instruction Network.
Several feasibility studies for small industrial alee

Special consultant and lecturer for U.S. Civil Service
Commission for classes and seminars for data processing
executives in the Federal Government.
Designed and conducted special courses in data processing
for local organizations including American Institute of
Certified Public Accountants.
Adviser-consultant to Mobile Area Law Enforcement Information
System Task Force during definitive stages of the development
of the computer applications and teleprocessing networks.
Regular lecturer in University Continuing Education courses
“and special projects for Small Business Administration.
