Dear Professor Engstrom:

f am enclosing the data we received from the Bureau of the
Census breaking down the population of Phillips County, Arkansas,
along with an explanatory letter from the Chief of the Geography
Division. f understand that you have already received from
Kathleen Bell precinct maps and election data. ff this is not
so, please let me know as soon as possible.

I am also enclosing a check for 92500, to defray the costs
incurred by the University of New Orleans as a result of your
analyzing polarized elections in Phillips County.

Please give me a call so that we can discuss which elections
should be analyzed.
