starting to Look at purging statutes in light of
amendeci S 2 of the Voting Rights Act. 9{oulci it be
possible for you to sertd me copies of the'pleadings and
trial court decision in your purge case?

Governmentts amicus brief does not say much that isnrt
alreaciy in our brief, but it may be useful to have them
on our side.
