enclose a chapter I recently co-authored with Drew Days on
the Voting Rights Act, published by Howard University Press
in Ivlinority Vote Ditution (C. Davidson ed. 1984).

I am interested in teaching a voting rights seminar in the
Spring Semester. Possible topics include:

representation and the role of the judiciary
in the "political thicket'
