STATEMENT by Jack Greenberg - Januar 14, 1969

This decision affects over 2,000 public housing authorities and

contributes to upholding the dignity of those who live in public

housing. There are 2.6 million people living in federal low-income

projects. These families have a median family income of less than

$2800 per year.

We hope to continue our efforts to develop legal rules to protect

the rights of public housing tenants.
