LDF ATTORNEYS WILL FILE A COMPLAINT IN THE U.S. DISTRICT COURT FOR THE MIDDLE 

DISTRICT OF N.C. IN WINSTON-SALEM ON WEDNESDAY, JUNE 5. AN INJUNCTION IS 

BEING SOUGHT TO RESTRAIN THE DEFENDENTS FROM MAINTAINING A POLICY OF DISCRIM- 

INATION AGAINST THE PLAINTIFFS AND MEMBERS OF THEIR CLASS BECAUSE OF THEIR 

RACE WITH RESPECT TO COMPENSATION, TERMS, CONDITIONS, AND PRIVILEGES OF EM- 

PLOYMENT OR BY UNITING, SEGREGATING, AND CLASSIFYING THESE PERSONS IN WAYS 

WHICH DEPRIVE THEM OF EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES OR OTH#RWISE ADVERSELY AFFECT 

THEIR EMPLOYMENT STATUS. THIS IS ALSO A PROCEEDING FOR A DECLATORY JUDGEMENT 

THAT THE DEFENDENT'S POLICY IS VIOLATIVE OF RIGHTS SECURED BY TITLE VII OF 

THE CIVIL RIGHTS ACT OF 1964, THE CASE OF HARBRSTROM, ET AL. V. MCLEAN TRUCK- 

ING COMPANY, A CORPORATION OF WINSTON-SALEM NORTH CAROLINA, AND INTERNATIONAL 

BROTHERHOOD OF TEAMSIERS, CHAUFFEURS, WAREHOUSEMEN A ELPERS OF AM! Ay 

LOCAL B91, GREENSBORO, N. C., IS THE FIRSY TRUCKING CASE WHERE THE TEAMSTERS 

HAVE BEEN JOINED AS DEFENDENIS. THE UNION HAS FAILED TO PROTEST THE UNLAWFUL 

EMPLOYMENT PRACTICES OF THE COMPANY, HAS OPPOSED THE ESTABLISHMENT OF FORMA- 

LIZED TRAINING PROGRAMS, AND HAS BEEN A PARTY TO AND ACTED IN CONCERT WITH 

THE COMPANY IN ESTABLISHING AND MAINTAINING THE DISCRIMINATORY POLICIES COM-

THAT THE PLAINTIFFS BE GRANTED AN INJUNCTION ENJOINING DEFENDENDS. FROM CON-
