- JUDGMENT

Plaintiffs' counsel submitted to the court a motion

for award of costs and attorney fees. 42 U.S.C. §1973 1(e)

authorizes the court to award to the prevailing party, at its

discretion, a "reasonable attorney's fee as part of the costs."

Plaintiffs are the prevailing party in this action.

It is therefore ORDERED, ADJUDGED, and DECREED that

the defendents shall pay to plaintiffs' counsel $57,802.50

in attorney fees and $7,237.54 as expenses, the sum of which

is reduced by $750.00, for a total of $64,300.04.

Costs are taxed against the defendants.
