Re: Weber Data

Dear Robinson:

Please have Dr. Weber forward to me the underlying or supporting data and computations on
which he relied in making the analyses contained in his report in the Cromartie litigation. We believe
that this information is already in a format that can be E-mailed to me at
TSMILEY@MAIL.JUS.STATE.NC.US. If he would prefer, or if we run into any difficulty opening
the E-mail, please provide the data on a disk by overnight mail. We will reimburse him for the disk.
Time is of the essence with his deposition next week, so please provide the materials no later than
Thursday.

In addition, please have Dr. Weber bring to his deposition all maps, non-electronic data, or
any other materials on which he relied in preparing his report and conclusions.

Thank you for your cooperation and prompt attention to this matter.
