FEES AND EXPENSES CHARGED TO CLIENTS

ALTMAN & WEIL, INC.
Management Consultants

Time Fees
Fees charged to clients are generally based on the time requirement of the assignment.

Billing rates range from $35 to $180 per hour for work performed in our offices, and $650

to $1,800 per day for work performed outside our offices. Fees for each project depend

on the degree of experience required from the consultant(s) assigned. An hourly clerical

charge is made for preparation of lengthy documents and reports. An estimate of fees,

based on prior experience, is provided in most assignments.

Special Fees

When an assignment involves the adaptation of previously developed materials in which

we have an internal investment of time and expertise, an appropriate charge not based on

time may be made. Such a charge may be made for provision of intricate forms and

systems, the preparation of documents, manuals and like materials. Also, when a result

is obtained for the client because of our special knowledge or experience, but with

relatively little expenditure of time, an appropriate fee arrangement will be suggested.

Recruiting Fees

A minimum charge is made in personnel recruiting assignments, when not part of a more

general assignment; currently it is $3,500 for managerial personnel and $4,000 for lawyer

positions. Consulting time is charged against this minimum, and excess time is charged

at regular consulting rates. (Our fees in such endeavors are generally less than those of

organizations that do recruiting on a contingency basis.)

Travel
Travel to consulting assignments is usually done before and after the business day. If a

substantial amount of time is required for such travel, a charge at half the hourly rate

may be made. Time spent in travel during the normal business day is included in the

regular consulting per diem rate.

enses

Clients are billed at cost for expenses incurred in travel, lodging, meals, long distance

telephone communications, nonroutine postage, reproduction expense, and advertising on

their behalf. When possible, we try to schedule travel to more than one distant location

and client, and will then apportion the cost between assignments.

Billing ; :

Clients are generally billed monthly whenever substantial services are rendered during

the month. New clients are usually asked to send us an advance against costs and

services. Bills are due upon presentation. A charge of 1.5% per month will be added for

unpaid invoices after 30 days. Clients of Altman & Weil, Inc., should always feel free to

discuss matters of charges with us. Rates quoted above are subject to change without

notice.
