ORDER 

The court has before it the motion of defendants herein 

to stay, without supersedeas bond, the Order of this Court entered 

March 2, 1976, granting plaintiffs an award of attorneys' fees 

and costs. Defendants, on March 17, 1976, took an appeal to the 

United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit from this 

Order, and there being no question of defendants' ability or 

willingness to satisfy the terms of the Order should their appeal 

prove unsuccessful, and there being a serious likelihood that 

defendants will prevail in their appeal, it is 

ORDERED 

That enforcement of our Order of March 2, 1976, ordering 

defendants to pay to plaintiffs an award of attorneys' fees and 

costs in this action is hereby stayed and suspended until final 

disposition of defendants’ appeal by the United States Court of 

Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, without the necessity of supersed- 

eas bond; provided, however, that in the event that such Order is 

affirmed on appeal, then the amount of the award so affirmed shall 

bear interest in the amount of 8% per annum from March 2, 1976, 

mwtil pald.
