Dear Larry:
It was a pleasure to meet you at the Legal Defense Fund seminar. I would be very
pleased to collaborate with you in fee requests.
During our meeting, I quoted an hourly rate of $180 for testimony. On considering
that, I want to let you know that while I will charge for appearances, I expect to do
the necessary preparation and review without cost to you. Efforts like those you
have described are worthy of support from the rest of us, and I would like to see you
keep as much of the fee as possible.
Cordially yours,
7). !
