Lucas 525 Commerce Title Building Memphis, Tennessee 38103 Re: Detroit School Case Dear Co-counsel: Enclosed please find an inventory of the materials we have in the Detroit school case. I have attempted to arrange the materials under rather general subject matter headings; obviously there are overlaps. Unless otherwise indicated by one of our initials in parentheses, the materials listed are in Detroit. There are a number of materials to be provided us pursuant to depositions and I am presently scanning the depositions and making a list of the materials which Von Ende has agreed to furnish. As soon as the list is complete, I will request that the information be furnished and will send you copies of that request. Please look over the enclosed list rather carefully and if any of you have any materials which are not on the list, please advise me so we may add them to the list. Also enclosed is a list of trial exhibits from previous hearings, most of which are in the Court's file. March 12, 1971 Page 2 Lou and I will be in Detroit Monday night through Thursday night and hope that each of you can be there all or part of that time also, as much remains to be done. Very truly yours RATMER, SUGARMON & LUCAS William E. Caldwell WEC:bc encs P.S. I am also enclosing copies of some proposed exhibits which contain information for your general use.
