To All Counsel of Record
The last line of paragraph 3, page 11, of the Detroit Board's 

Brief In Opposition To Petition For Writs of Certiorari reads:
"It is the State of Michigan, and only the State of 
Michigan, that has commited de jure acts of segrega­
tion, and it is the State along that must provide a 
remedy."

The Supreme Court has been advised that said sentence should read:
"It is the State of Michigan (acting alone or through 
it’s agent, the Detroit School District), and only 
the State of Michigan, that has committed de jure 
acts of segregation, and it is the State alone that 
must provide a remedy."
