On November 7, 1969, in the above styled comsolidated 

causes the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals directed the Forrest 

h

County School district, among others, to implement the HEW schoo 

desegregation plan for that system. By order of December 13, 

the Fifth Circuit modified the HEW student assignment plan and in 

that order also directed the school board to present to this 

Court the question of whether or not the Barl Trevilliom school 
Wilda 

should be closed for the 1970-71 school term. 

On March 30, 1970, the school board in conformance 

with the schedule and procedure outlined in the November 7, 1969 

order of the Fifth Circuit filed with this Court its proposed 

modi fications to the HEW plan as supplemented.
