2. I am an assistant counsel at the NAACP Legal Defense 

| and Educationdl Fund, Inc., New York, New York, a non-profit 

corporation that provides lsgal assistance, at no cost, to black 

|| persons seeking vindication of their civil rights in the courts. 

I seek an award of attorney's fees in behalf of the Legal Defense 

|

(M.D. Ga. 1976), and I have been awarded fees of $70 per hour 

(for 159.50 hours) as lead counsel on the appeal in Foster v.   

Boorstin, D. D.C., Civ, Act. No. 74-9519, order and opinion of 
  

February 27, 1978, and $50 per hour (for 16.6 hours) on the 

appeal in Fischer v. Adams, D. Mass., Civ. Act. No. 75-3934-S,   

{ Award of Fees of October 11, 1978. In addition, I have obtained 

the following fees as part of settlements in Jensen v. Bailar,   

D..D.C., Civ, Act. Bo. 76-1570, November 1977 ($75 per hour for 

14 hours) {Title VII action), and Adams v, Califano, D. D.C., 
  

Civ. Act. No. 3085-70, April 1978 ($75 per hour for 23 hours

and accurate record of costs incident to my rendering of lagal 

services by date, item, and cost.
