my admission to practice pro hac vice before this Court in a case   

styled LULAC v. Mattox. I seek to appear as counsel for   

plaintiff-intervenors in the presentation of this case. 

5. I am an attorney with the NAACP Legal Defense and 

Educational Fund, Inc. in New York City. I am supervised in my 

representation of plaintiffs in this matter by the Director- 

Counsel Julius L. Chambers and Deputy Director-Counsel Charles 

Stephen Ralston of the Legal Defense Fund. The Legal Defense 

Fund is a nationally recognized, highly respected organization 

dedicated to the representation of minority individuals in 

constitutional and civil rights litigation. It has been cited by 

the United States Supreme Court as having ”a corporate reputation 

for expertness in presenting and arguing the difficult questions
