I invite you to be present to accept this award at the 16th Annual Human and Civil Rights Awards Dinner on July 4, 1982, at the Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles, California. Your transportation and expenses for hotel and meals will be paid for by NEA. t,{e suggest that you plan to arrive in Los Angeles on July 3. There will be a presentation rehearsal and luncheon at noon for all recipients on July 4. There will be a general reception at 7215 p.m. for all dinner guests and a private reception for the recipients, their guests, NEA officers, and the Conmittee on Human Relations following the dinner. Within a few days you will be hearing from the staff of the Human and Civil Rights office regarding final arrangements for the dinner.
