Dear l"lr. Noble:

I enclose a copy of the release as I propose to amend it.
John Hoffman suggested I forward this to you for review
by your lawyers. As f told IvIr. Hoffman, my primary con-
cern is with the substance of the profile. I would like
an opport, unity to view the documentary prior to its final
edit or airing to reassure myself of two things: (1) that
this is not a celebrity profile about me but a serious
look at the work of a civil rights lawyer, and, 12) tnat
the documentary does not contain any grievous errors or
distortions regarding the work that I do.

I am very impressed with your initial concept as well as
your commitment to educational yet inspirational film-
making. I just want to 1ay out in advance the nature of
my concerns to avoid subsequent misunderstandings.

Please let me know whether there are any problems with
the release as mod.ified. I look forward to working with
you.
