MOTION REQUESTING EXHIBIT TO BE FILED UNDER SEAL
TO THE HONORABLE UNITED STATES CIRCUIT COURT:
COMES NOW Harris County District Judge Sharolyn Wood ("Judge
Wood") and requests permission to file under seal Exhibit "1" to
the Affidavit of J. Eugene Clements filed with her Motion for
Attorneys’ Fees in the above-referenced case on October 18, 1990,
and in support thereof respectfully shows the Court the following:
I.
Exhibit. "1" consists in a photographic copy of the complete
time records for attorneys and paralegals of Porter & Clements for
work expended in the district and appellate courts on the above-
referenced case. Its contents are fully and accurately summarized
in Exhibit "2" to the same Affidavit of J. Eugene Clements, as
testified to under oath in the Affidavit. The original time
records contain confidential material protected by the attorney-
client privilege. Judge Wood requests that they be kept on file by
the Court of Appeals under seal to be made available to other
counsel only after in camera inspection for privileged material and
then only upon a showing of need and for good cause shown.
WHEREFORE, for the foregoing reasons, Harris County District
Judge Sharolyn Wood requests permission to file Exhibit "1" to the
Affidavit of J. Eugene Clements of October 17, :1990, under seal.
