RE: Joint Appendix in Hunt -vs- Cromartie

Supreme Court of the United States

Dear Tiare:

This letter is to confirm our agreement concerning the joint appendix. You will be
forwarding to Professor Everett's office a letter indicating your best estimate of what the State

and Intervenors want included in the joint appendix. If your list of included items changes, which

I assume it will, you will provide us that information as those decisions are made.

We will provide to you a list of the items we want included as those decisions are made.
We are already reviewing the maternal. Our final deadline is July 24, but we will attempt to give

you a final list by July 21. We will attempt to provide information on a disc when that option is
available.

As we discussed, I informed Ms. McNemey, an assistant clerk at the Supreme Court, that
we have “agreed to agree” on what items are to be included in the joint appendix. She requested

that we keep her informed as developments occur.

This is also to confirm that the Intervenors are in agreement with the procedure that I have
outlined.
