I was pleased to talk with you today. I agree with you that much 

can be gained by the sort of general discussion you contemplated. 

I will plan to be at your office at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 31. 

Enclosed are several copies of a working paper that presents, 

in condensed form, the analysis that will be in our forthcoming Stanford 

Law Review article. I don't recall if I have sent this to you. Also, 

it may be of interest to some of your other death penalty people.
