BEFORE THIS COURT is the State Defendants’ Motion to 

Continue in the above-captioned cause. The Motion by the State 

Defendants was filed on or about May 17, 1989. State Defendants 

supplemented their Motion on June 2, 1989. Plaintiff filed its 

opposition to the Motion to Continue on June 5, 1989. On that 

date, Dallas County District Judge Entz also filed a Motion for 

Continuance. Upon consideration of the Motions, response and 

arguments of the parties, this Court is of the opinion that such 

motion should be denied. Accordingly, 

IT IS ORDERED that the Motion of the State Defendants for 

Continuance is hereby DENIED. 

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Motion of Judge Entz to 

Continue is hereby DENIED. 

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Order Relative to Pretrial 

on the above-captioned cause is hereby amended as follows: 

1. Discovery must be complete by June 30, 1989 or as 

otherwise agreed by the parties. 

2. The Pretrial Order Rr be filed by July 7, 1989.
