Dr. Gordon Henderson
Dear Gordon:
[ am sending you under separate cover the following reports:
1. The primary and general election returns dated November 1, 1975
and December 13, 1975. This was for State Officers and contains
board and precinct breakdowns.
Report of the Secretary of State through January 1, 1975 to
December 31, 1975 with an insert in the back relative to
election returns for electors of the President and Vice-Presi-
dent of the United States on November 2, 1976. These are not
broken down by precinct and, 1 am afraid, are of limited use
to you.
Primary and general election returns from October 27 and December 8,
1979, for State-wide offices with a breakdown by ward and precinct.
General election returns for President and Vice-President of the
United States dated November 4, 1980. These also have breakdowns
by ward and precinct.
These are the only copies of these documents which we have. Please be
careful with them.
If you need results from any other elections, please let me know. I
believe from our conversation that you stated that you needed State-
wide and Presidental contests for comparison of Orleans and Jefferson.
If you need the results from city or parish-wide contests in each of
the two parishes, please let me know as soon as possible.
Sincerely,
2)
