Na r” Na ” a ” a ” N a ” a ” a ” a ” ORDER This day this cause coming on for hearing, on joint motion of the parties, to amend the Desegregation Plan for the Holmes County School District, Appendix 16 to the order of the Court herein of November 7, 1969, and the Court having fully considered said motion, finds that the same should be, and is hereby granted. It is therefore, Ordered, Adjudged and Decreed that Page #3 of Appendix 16 following "PLAN, 1970-71:" under para- graph #1, be, and the same is hereby amended so that it will read in its entirety as follows: 1. That Lexington Attendance Center and Lexington School be zoned to form the Lexington School zone. A. That the Lexington Attendance Center serve grades 5-12 for all students residing in the Lexington zone. B. That the Lexington School serve grades 1-4 for all students residing in the Lexington zone. | | ! 2. That the Ambrose Elementary School, which by the terms of this Order has been withdrawn from the plan of pupil assignment, shall be retained and maintained by the school district and shall not be used by any private school formed for the purpose or with the effect of providing white students with an alternative to public integrated education.
