It is gratifying to know that all the children

of Macon can now play in all the city's parks without regard

to race.

Similar situations where segregation has been

required by old wills, have existed in many cities through-

out the nation.

The most prominent such case, now in litigation,

involves Girard College in Philadelphia. We hope today's

decision will lead to speedy desegregation of Girard College.
