MEMORANDUM ON THIS COURT'S PROTECTIVE
ORDERS DATED JANUARY 14, 1977

Counsel for the plaintiffs have orally made known

to the court their desire to present the information re-

ferred to in this court's orders to produce and protective

orders of January 14, 1977, to experts for analysis and

the use of computers in the examining process. This court's

protective order stated none of the documents were to be

reproduced, but that the information could be made available

to experts for analysis.

The most practical way for the information to be

given to the experts is to reproduce a copy of each document

for the use of the experts. The attorneys plan to blank out

the names and any reference in each document by which a

police officer could be identified. This is in the spirit

of this court's orders.

Only one copy is to be made available of each docu-

ment which is to be returned by the attorneys to the court and

and after the final disposition of this case, all computer

documents will be left in the custody of the court or destroyed.

The same procedure may be used by the defendants.
