Dear Olati:

Enclosed please find a copy of the City’s Brief on appeal

to the Court of Appeals. 1 received the brief on August

31, 19298, sO our opposition is due on October 15 according

to the Court of Appeals rules. We also have the automatic

20 day extension that we can tag on to that date, putting

us to November 4.

Do you want to meet to talk through the issues sometime

after September 16? I have two briefs and some depositions to

finish up before then and I will be better able to focus after

that date.

Thanks for being so understanding about my absentmindedness

during the filing of the appeal in the Commission case. I really

appreciate all of your help and concern.

Sincerely yours,

SY ptr nce
