Dear David:

Here is a copy of the cover letter and agenda for the
October conference. I filled out the postcard for you.

The topics that seem to be front runners for the two Friday
panels are: (1) hrays of proving/rneasuring polarization and
political cohesiveness; (2) alternative remedies--which ones
work, which ones don'ti (3) negotiating with defendants; and (4)
how to use expert witnesses. If you have any thoughts about who
night be good panelists, etc., please let me know when we speak
about Solomon.

f shall go over Solomon Dore carefully, and look through our
recent S 2 files, over the weekend. So anytime from next week on
that's good for you to talk would also be good with me.

Sincerely,

?*
Pamela S. Karlan
