Gordon G. Henderson, Esq.
Re: Major v. Treen
Dear Gordon:
Please accept my apology for our failure to reimburse
you all your out of pocket expenses. I am certainly glad
you wrote me directly. I was not previously aware that
your bill was outstanding. It must have gotten lost in
the mail between Louisiana and New York.
I have requested expedited payment of your bill. You
should receive a check within the next ten days.
Thank you for bearing with us. Of course, we will let
you know what the court decides. I have renewed confidence
based on Marty's post-trial brief in which he relies on
newspaper editorials, appended to his brief but not part: of
the record, to try to rebut your computer analysis. I guess
that's what you do when you don't have the facts or the law.
We had a great trial team, ardno matter what the out-
come, it was fun working with you.
Sincerely,
ani Guinier
