News of mass firing of hundreds of Negro teachers will be 
released Monday, May 24th at 1:30 PM when Jack Greenberg, director- 
counsel, NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, addresses Empire 
State Chapter of Federal Bar Association in Skytop Room (18th Floor) 
Statler Hilton Hotel, 7th Avenue and 32nd Street. Mr. Greenberg will 
have announcements of legal action in addition to new comments on this 
erisis as another short coming of Title VI of the 1964 Civil Rights 
Act and the Department of Health Education and Welfare, He will 
be available for further discussion at 2 PM in the Petite Cafe 
just off the Terrace Room in the Main Lobby.
